History of National I Want You to Be Happy Day
Wanting to make other people happy has a history that goes as far back as humans. Caring for others and wanting what’s best for them is all part and parcel of loving someone. In more modern times, studies have shown that a main condition for most people to be happy is the opportunity to make others happy as well.
Scientists have even shown this to be connected to special happy hormones the brain releases when people help others. Oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin are all released in what’s called the “helper’s high”, which is a grand feeling someone gets from helping another person and watching them be happy. It’s a delightful response to something that is completely unselfish and absolutely beautiful!
National I Want You to Be Happy Day is here to celebrate the idea that the world is a better place when we all work together to make other people happy.

Earth's oceans contain an estimated $771 trillion worth of gold.
Since odd numbers are harder for our brains to process, some people actually experience feelings of discomfort when the volume of the television, among other things, is set to an odd number.
Polar Bears Run Faster Than Professional Football Players - The fastest NFL player in 2018 was a running back who ran just over 22mph. Yet despite their size, polar bears can run at 25mph, jump over six feet in the air, and are nearly undetectable by infrared cameras due to their transparent fur. But, don't let this skill scare you. Unless provoked, and unlike other bears, polar bears are not territorial or confrontational.
The newlyweds who were both in a photo taken 11 years before they met
Cornwall, England's Aimee Maiden and Nick Wheeler were just two people in love who were set to be married. Just before their wedding, the couple went to Wheeler's grandparents' house and flipped through a family photo album.
They come across a photo of Nick as a child with his family on a beach in Cornwall. To their astonishment, they spotted Aimee with her family in the background – the photo was taken years before they met!
Aimee said the unbelievable coincidence just confirmed that she'd found her soul mate.
The couple were married about a minute's walk from where the photo was taken all of those years ago.
